That’s why we office at the Nix Medical Center, where all of the services you need are in one location.

At the Nix Medical Center, we are in close contact with a variety of medical specialists who have offices in the same building. These established relationships allow for immediate appointments to specialists or specialized treatments. Plus, these relationships greatly assist us in truly coordinating our patients’ medical care.

Our certifications speak for themselves. Our board certified geriatrics, are fellows of the American Academy of Family Physicians and serve on the faculty of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA).

We also help our patients better manage their medications. Elder adults are often on several prescription medications at the same time. Checking for harmful interactions and explaining side effects is a very important part of our job.

Our staff is familiar with the issues that face older adults and work closely with a trained social worker when necessary. Medicare changes are a constant battle for our patients. We work to help you navigate through the red tape and get the care you need and deserve.
